The IEN Indigenous Student Celebration and Award Ceremony celebrated graduates and students for their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements and community involvement.
Samantha Burns, Zian Zhang, Ghazal Malik, and Si Jia Wu were named the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓÆµµ¼º½-based winners of the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓÆµµ¼º½ Student Leadership Award in 2025.
Three staff are being recognized for their remarkable contributions to supporting the academic and professional journeys of ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓÆµµ¼º½ community members.
Erminia Pedretti, Laurie Faith, Lance T. McCready, Andrzej Szieb, and Katherine E. Entigar are receiving excellence honours from the Institute for 2025.
Dr. Jeffrey Ansloos has been named one of this year’s laureates of a prestigious Dorothy Killam Fellowship. This is the first time in almost 30 years that an ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓÆµµ¼º½ faculty member has been awarded the fellowship, with the last recipient being Professor Linda Siegel in 1996.
