We have just returned from a visit with one of our newest partner schools, Johnny Therriault School at Aroland First Nation in Treaty 9. The warm welcome from Principal Bill Beaucage set the stage for a great visit with the dedicated and enthusiastic group of educators at the school.
Last week, the Robertson Program visited the Rainy River District School Board (RRDSB) to co-create activities focused on shape and spatial relationships that help children recognize relationships between two- and three-dimensional objects.
Our second stop while in Northwestern Ontario was Mikinaak Onigaming School at Onigaming First Nation with Principal Steve Grindrod and Seven Generations First Nation Student Success Program teachers Aimee Beazley and Shelly Jones.

Carol Stephenson, the Kindergarten teacher at the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study Lab School, recently invited us into her classroom to find out how she begins the process of inquiry at the start of the school year.
